My name is Kathleen Cercone. I am a Licensed Physical Therapist and Exercise Physiologist. Ialso have my PhD in Education with a focus on Instructional Design for Online Learning and adult learning.

I am a Professor at Housatonic Community College in Bridgeport, Ct. and an online instructor for Kaplan University. My research and focus of my PhD was online teaching and adult learning theory.

I will show a few pictures of what is important in my life. Not in order of importance….

Of course, this is not me but my dog. Her name is Bailey and we have more pictures of her than anyone else in the house. She is VERY spoiled.

She is a Bichon Frise and 13 years old.

Now, the next picture to your right is MY husband and her dad with my daughter— on her special day 3/3/07.

She worked full time as a Director of a Day Care until her son was born.

Her husband is Brian and he works in Health administration. Here they are on their wedding day.

Here is their beautiful child born on 8/22/08. He was 6 weeks early. Here he is several months ago. In the first picture–I love the diapers so I have kept it here. As you can see, these are quite fancy. They are cloth diapers.He is now walking and I will be adding current pictures later

On March 2, 2010, Camden Shoop was born almost 10 pounds. He looks a lot like his brother, but is different too.

There are many more pictures on my blog of him. He is walking and INTO EVERYTHING! Nothing is safe around Gavin. I will have on this page a few graphics for you to see. I also have added a few on each blog that I created for your classes.

My husband is Vince and he is the chief cook in the house. I do not cook that well
and since we like to eat, he cooks. In his professional life he is a manager of Information Technology and involved in EDI.

This is my son Mike who is a high school teacher at Masuk High. He teaches in Technology Education and is working on his Masters Degree right now.

Mike is dating Melissa, a wonderful girl that we all love!

I was an empty nester wih no kids at home- it was so peaceful- but now I have, all of the above, at home. My daughter is pregnant and can not work. My son is trying to save money as he has lived on his own for the last 2 years. So, I have a very active and busy home. I created an office with doors for peace so I can work done!!!!

Lastly, is my picture. I think havng a face to put to my seminar voice is good- so here I am!!!!
