Welcome to my Joomla Course Management System website.
I have been investigating this program for a while to see if it would meet my needs. I am an online adjunct for Kaplan University and a full time, professor at Housatonic Community College (HCC) in Bridgeport, Ct. At HCC I am also the Coordinator of the Physical Therapist Assistant Program.
What I want to do is develop a social, Web 2.0 site where communication can take place among Higher Education online faculty- whether full time or part time. I am a member of a Yahoo group that has a focus on getting and finding positions. That is just one aspect of teaching online.
Teaching and learning the pedagogy of learning online is another important task.
My grandson is all ready looking at technology. He is always trying to use my computer. I showed him Yo Gabba Gabba one day several months ago and since then, he comes to see what else he can see.
